Which materials go into a residential interior?
Luxury residential interior materials at Modenese Gastone are chosen for comfort as well as looks: Carrara and other fine marble, solid cherry, walnut and mahogany, silk, velvet and brocade, tufted leather, decorative lighting with 24k gold leaf, and hand-finished wall panels. Each is matched to the room and finished to a chosen RAL Classic colour.
The choice starts with how hard a room is used. A family salon and a busy route through the house need harder-wearing leather and sealed marble, while a master suite can take softer silk and hand-finished panels. Colour and finish are settled next. Wood is waxed, lacquered or given an aged patina to any RAL Classic reference; 24k gold leaf is laid over carved detail and sealed; marble is honed or polished and sealed against daily use.
